Champion Powder Coating Customer Review page.

A place for customers like you to let others know the experience you had with Champion Powder Coating.

Dropped my roll bars for my cobra off to Elliot on a Wednesday had them ready for pick up on Friday. Good company, good people, good price, good work. Will be bringing more stuff to him.

This place rules.
Local bike shops tell you go to south city of Fremont but I looked these guys up and they had my bike done in one day.
I have been telling everyone about this place.
Quick cheap and great at what they do.

Got my Road Glide powder coated. From start to finish the process was flawless. Great service and quick turn around (two days).

I’ve used this company two times now and both times I was extremely impressed the fast turnaround but most of all is the quality and the service I use them for my show car two different shows car and both times unbelievable quality found the best.
Thanks for the great on my Vw rims. Great Job.

Had a pair of 14 year old Bertoia side chairs that were pretty badly rusted from being outside. Thought they were done for but I didn’t want to spring $800 bucks a piece for new ones and saw that someone else had taken their same style chairs to Champion.

Final verdict: Champion managed to restore them. Better than new IMHO (the paint feels thicker & more durable to me). $125 each and took under a week.

Definitely recommend!

My first experience in the world of powder coating.

The finish on my patio furniture had cracked and faded due to being outside for 15 years. Elliot’s team Brought color swatches to my home and I chose one that I thought would work. After second guessing myself, I called Elliot and asked if we could over the multitude of options together. He always picked  up the phone immediately. He was unfailingly polite, patient and accommodating. My furniture looks AMAZING…brand new. And he got it done and delivered before the expected date.

Thank you Elliot!

Champion did an excellent job sandblasting and powder coating my 53 Chevy truck frame. Elliot is great to work with and delivers as promised.

Will not go any where else. Trust me, you wont get this service any where else.

This is the place to go to get your powder coating done. Great work and fast turn around time. No BS. Straight to the point.

Powder coated frame/chassis

I took my five radiant heater radiators down to Champion Powder Coating and they said “No problem, We do these all the time”. They said that they would sandblast them first, tape off all threaded areas and powder coat  them within a week.  When I returned to pick them up, they were all carefully shrink wrapped. I was very pleased at the attention they received. I don’t think they even looked that good 100 years ago because that’s how old they are. HATS OFF TO THESES GUYS FOR A TOP NOTCH JOB.

Solid work, let me know all the color options, pros and cons of each finish but made quick work stripping all the old paint and silicon on my wheel faces and recoated them diamond white pearl. Will definitely recommend and will come here for future work.

The best powder coating shop I have ever been to and the owner Elliott is a great guy

Called a few places and got the by far the best price from Champion. They got my ’72 Monte Carlo frame media blasted and powder coated in literally 24 hours. Can’t thank them enough for the great job and highly recommended. They had every color and finish available but choose the 80% gloss and it looks great.

I go here for all my powder coating needs. Fast turn around and excellent quality!! Elliot is cool AF and very knowledgeable on the Harley parts I bring him.

Lions Den Customs

Yelp doesn’t allow me to give 0 stars. Let’s start off we the workmanship. My son got powder coat done. He specifically told them to cover/ tape the bottom brackets before painting. They said of course. Then he picks it up and the staff and owner did not say to thread it before assembling and there was paint inside the brackets. Now his $1200 bike plus these add ons adds up. Well the pedals are stiff due to the paint dried in the bottom brackets. We have to pay for this additional repair and this owner Elliot wants to talk about saying it’s “common sense” . I said it might be bike 101 to you but other ppl that don’t work on bikes for a living wouldn’t know if you tell your customers to thread it before assembling. Then you get these comments and customer service with sarcasms. Basically they won’t admit their wrong doing, don’t care about customer satisfaction. They just want to make a fast sale and mess up customers bike and you deal with the lost .

This place deserves more 5 star reviews because they are excellent. I’ve received multiple excellent quality parts from Champion and their span of color and finish offerings is pretty darn broad. With a $100 minimum they’ll coat a whole lot of material for you for a minimal cost.

Easy/friendly service and in a time where everyone is wearing masks, they’ve been doing it for years so it’s natural! (You gotta wear masks when painting!) So it’s nice and safe during these trying times.

I consider them a real asset to my business when we need powder coating work done for our computer enclosures.

I heard good things about Champion from the guys I work with. Whenever we stopped by their shop, all of the staff seemed pretty friendly and knowledgeable about the powder coating process. I asked them about powder coating my crossbars on my Audi Q5. For some reason, every Audi crossbar set comes in a bare aluminum finish.

The staff was able to explain what I needed to do to prep the material. They showed me a book of different finishes and even brought out samples to see the quality of their work and the finished product. The color I decided to go with was Black Magic, a color not in their pallet selection. I choose this sample off of a material that they did.

Each crossbar was labeled, and they warned me that the process heats the material up to 400 degrees and that it would destroy the label. I took the pieces home and marked them with an electric engraver. I dropped them off, filled out some paperwork, and my crossbars were done in under 24 hours.

My overall experience was nothing short of excellent. The staff was down to earth and greeted me every time I came by. The turn-around was quick, and the workmanship was excellent. The parts were neatly wrapped in plastic to avoid any defects. The price was even better! As long as you can prepare your material in advance, these guys will take care of you, and you won’t be disappointed.

Quick turnaround and great customer service. Job well done! We are happy customers and we will be back for future projects and definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for powder coating services.

Disappointed. Paid $325 to have the floor lamp that I made by hand powder coated. I personally spoke with the boss in person and showed him the very minimal masking that I needed (one 1/4″” diameter, 1.5″” tall rod masked) and explained why I needed it masked. He agreed and said no problem. When I showed up to pick it up, they clearly had not masked the small area that I requested. And instead they obviously had powder coated it and then realized they messed up so they scraped off the powder coat with a razor blade, but did a bad job at it. So I had to use a razor blade myself and spend over an hour scraping the rest of the powder coat off of the area that I specified to get masked. There were also numerous surface flaws in the powder coating, clearly air bubbles of some sort. I would definitely not use this company again.

Fast, professional and good prices. I would highly recommend champion powder coating. I was recommended by a friend to powder coat my wheel.  Them came out better than the other rims which were done at another shop. Cool guys I’ll def be back.

Great experience!  Helped me fix the color on my shower drain grate to avoid a massive plumbing headache. Reasonable, professional, and prompt service. Thank you!!!

Called to see if they could strip the paint off my motorcycle tank. They said yes. Drove down there with my tank, then they said no.

Due to the hazard and liability you can not sandblast a gas tank full of gas!!!

Thank you for the review and coming by the shop, you were told to please wash it out to be sandblasted and we would love for you to stop by with a CLEAN tank. If there’s anything else we can do to satisfy you, feel free to give us a call at 415-822-1800.

Just got some wheels done by this shop. I’m blown away by the work they did. My wheels came out perfect and the price is unbeatable. Turn around was about a week and a half. The crew did an Amazing job and the service was on point. I walked in got quoted without them even seeing the wheels.  They stuck to their quote and wouldn’t let me pay a dime extra, even though I tried to tip them. I couldn’t be happier with how my wheels turned out. I was a little worried since my wheels are aluminum and there was a chance that there could be bubbles from off gassing. First time ever having anything powder coated and I will definitely come back for all my powder coating needs. I highly recommend this shop if you need any thing powder coated.

The team at Champion did a wonderful job powder coating my table bases. I will definitely return in the future. Great work, nice costumer service and super fast turnaround… what more could you ask for?

Champion stripped and powder coated our vintage Bertoia chairs. These chairs had seen better days and were covered with rust spots and chipped paint from being left outdoors far too long. Champion far exceeded our expectations, the chairs look brand new and are ready for another 50+ years of use! Great work, great price, great people. Provided the type of personalized customer service that sadly no longer exists, thank you Champion!

I’m in the auto industry and I’ve used these guys for the last 5 years. I run a local performance and autobody shop. I’ve sent them everything from small brackets to color match to complete car frames. Their work is top notch. The prep work is great and really shows in the final product. Turn around time is always on time or a day early. Top quality work in an industry where others lack.

Big thanks to Elliot and Maya for taking care of me and my Jeep parts! I was recommended to Champion from someone in the local Jeep community. Champion knocked out my bumpers, rock rails, steps, body armor, tire carrier, and quite a bit more (I’ve forgotten the huge list). The powder has been holding up pretty solid for the minor amount of abuse I put my rig through.

They turn stuff around quick, and aren’t going to nickle and dime you for little odds and ends. Good people doing good work.

I live in a 1920’s building in SF and have old steam radiators for heat. Before I moved in, I had the painter scrape and repaint them with a high heat paint. It only took one winter and the radiators peeled paint and looked awful. This would be fine, if I put them under covers – but I like the classic look of old radiators.

I found Champion on Yelp and called them because of the great reviews. I spoke to Elliot on the phone and he said that they strip and powder coat radiators all the time. He recommended that I get a plumber to properly disconnect/reconnect them. Elliot was very nice, he gave me an estimate over the phone per radiator and then gave me a discount when I arrived for bringing in 3. It was only a few days later that I got the call that they were done and ready to go.

Now I have fabulous looking radiators that enhance the look of my apartment! Thanks guys!

Two thumbs up to Lisa!!

She went above and beyond to provide Great customer service, Great team player, getting thing done!

Also thanks to the crew who supported and maid it happen 🙂

Thanks Again!

We had a very good experience with Elliot and the guys at Champion.

They disassembled our massive Steelcase Tanker desk, powder coated it beautifully and put the beast back together.

The price was good, the quality perfect and they did it quickly.

Definitely recommend.

Steelcase Tanker reincarnation.

To say I was very pleased is an understatement. From the beginning to the end product service was a pleasure. Sorry I didn’t take a before photo because the result is breath taking. Thanks.. don

Just had some motorcycle grab rails powder coated here.  I had brought in an anodized aluminum clutch lever that I wanted them to match, and they were very up front that the metallic features of the anodized metal couldn’t be matched well with powder coating, but then they ended up doing a match so close to the orange lettering on the tank, that I can’t tell the colors apart.  Very happy with the effort they put in to do it, and how it came out.  The finish is fantastic.

Powder coating to match the orange lettering in the gas tank.

I have been telling everyone about this place.

Quick cheap and great at what they do.

Popped into Champion to see if they could help me out with a custom bike frame.  Elliot advised me on the best blasting media to use to get the affect I was after, he took the frame away for a quick test and came back with a perfectly blasted frame.

Excellent customer service, fantastic results.

Elliott did a fantastic job on my BMW M5 wheels! I will be a repeat customer for any powder coating needs.

These guys are legit. I’ve been using them quite a bit lately for a backyard project of mine. Their work is about as close to flawless at possible. Their turnaround time has been super quick, taking no more than a few days each time.  If you need powder coating, this is THE place to go.

Champion has a great team.  Fast turn around, great prices and excellent quality.  I highly recommend them for all your powder coating needs.

If you need sandblasting service then this is the PLACE to go to.  Elliott and his team has all the equipment and expertise to do the task. On top of that, Elliott has the unique honesty about his work and his price. Very satisfied with his price and service. Will come back again anytime

Solid service. Stripped/blasted and powder-coated a cast iron table base for me and the results exceeded my expectations.

Don’t get your work done anywhere else! Elliot and the guys could not have done a better job!
I got a rusty old bike frame stripped, sandblasted and clear coated and it came out looking perfect.
Elliot took time to give me advice on what finishes/processes he recommended and then even stayed late one day so I could pick it up after work. When I arrived on my bike to pick it up – the guys wrapped/packed it up in foam so I could carry it on my back without scratching it.
The price was also cheaper than anywhere else I spoke to (some of whom told me that i wasn’t going to get anywhere near a good outcome with the frame I had…)
Could not have been happier! thanks guys.

Nine months later and not a single chip. This stuff is hard as a rock. Highly recommended.

One day turnaround.  Beautiful finish.

Eliot is a straight shooter and wants to do right by the customer.

The powder coating on my air dams will be tested as they really get beat up by road debris.  Eliot was straight up and said that powder coating is tough but not bulletproof.  I’ll report back over time to see how it holds up.

I plan on using Champion again.

Great work. They sandblasted some cast iron enamelware for me. Price was pretty good too.

This place is great, they know what they’re doing and took the time to get my wheels perfect. I am super satisfied in the results and would most definitely go back. If you choose them you will not be disappointed!!! The price and turn over time were also a bonus.
